Tired of having to stumble through the dark to turn the lamp on or flip a switch? Now you don't have to with IntelaVoice lamp modules that turn lights on or off — or even dim them — in response to your voice!
Easy Plug-and-Play Setup Setup takes just seconds! Simply plug a lamp into the two-prong jack on the module, set the lamp to the ON position, and plug the module into any standard AC outlet (120V/60Hz AC). Say the word "Lights" in a firm voice to turn the light ON. The light can be turned OFF by repeating the "Lights" command. This module can also be used to control small appliances, like fans. (Note: This module should not be used on appliances with heating elements, like space heaters, coffee makers, etc.)
Now Available with Dimming Want the ability to dim the lights by voice as well? Then choose the IntelaVoice(tm) Dimmer, which lets you choose one of three brightness levels by voice. Just say the word "Computer" in a firm voice to put the module in the listen mode. Then, depending on which light level you want, simply say "High," "Medium" or "Low". To turn the lights off, repeat the "Computer" command, then say "Off." You also have the option of programming it to understand your own words, in any Language. (Note: This module should not be used on appliances).
Plan on Using it Behind a Sofa? The Lamp Module or Lamp Dimmer should be used in outlets that have a direct line-of-sight from the location where you plan on using it from. If you plan to use it in a hidden area, like behind a couch or under a desk, we recommend that you use an optional external microphone (#2012M, sold separately) to avoid problems with the module "hearing" your commands. Simply place the microphone at a location where it can "hear" your voice and plug the other end into the module. |
